   Yoga in Rishikesh

From the lively city of Delhi to the spiritual land of Rishikesh, popularly known as the 'yoga capital of the world', where you can learn and practice yoga in its Ashrams, between the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas and the Ganges River, in a sacred and perfect environment to feel all the spiritual energy.

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at the airport in Delhi, meeting with our staff for presentations. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast, tour Old Delhi. Visit from the outside of the Red Fort, built in 1639 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (who built the Taj Mahal) and since 2007 recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit of the Jama Masjid, one of the most impressive Indian mosques, also commissioned by Shahjehan and completed in 1656. We pass through the characteristic and ancient market of Chandni Chowk built in the 17th century by the emperor himself. Visit the Raj Ghat, a black marble platform that marks the site of Mahatma Gandhi's cremation on January 31, 1948 one day after his assassination. Continuation to New Delhi to the Government Buildings District, which represent the largest liberal democracy in the world. Stop at India Gate, the arch erected in memory of Indian soldiers who left their lives fighting for the British army during the First World War. Visit of the Qutub Minar complex, a 73 meters high tower, engraved with verses from the Koran, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, which is one of the most beautiful monuments in India. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 03: Delhi / Haridwar ( by train) / Haridwar / Rishikesh (Km.24 )

Breakfast and transfer to the station to take the train to Haridwar. Upon arrival, meeting with our staff and departure for Rishikesh. Upon arrival, accommodation in the Ashram. Here we will follow a holistic lifestyle based on simple Ashram rituals and life practices. Overnight in Ashram.

Day 04 - 09 : Rishikesh

Days available for Yoga, Meditation and Spiritual Lessons. Overnight in Ashram.

Day 10: Rishikesh / Haridwar  / Delhi (by train)

Breakfast and departure for Haridwar. Visit of the town: Har-Ki-Pauri, Daksh Mahadev temple, Bharat Mata temple, Maya Devi temple, Bhimgoda, and Shanti Kunj are the most important places to visit. Departure for the station to take the train to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, meeting with our staff and accommodation in the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Depart from Delhi

Boarding the flight back home.
